**Professor Christopher Viney is currently the Chair of the Committee on Rules and Elections, and serves as Secretary/Parliamentarian for the Merced Division. Professor Viney’s appointment as UGC Chair for Spring/Summer 2024 is an emergency short-term response to a vacancy created by the UGC Chair’s appointment as Interim Dean of SSHA. As UGC Chair, Professor Viney would acquire voting rights on DivCo.
