Proposed Amendments to Bylaw II.IV.2.A – ADMISSIONS AND FINANCIAL AID COMMITTEE MEMBERSHIP

The proposed amendments include a GSA representative on AFAC and clarifies the duties and voting rights of the student representatives, as well as the role of the Committee on Committees (CoC).


Proposed Amendments to Senate Bylaw II.III.2.A – COMMITTEE ON ACADEMIC PERSONNEL MEMBERSHIP

The proposed amendments are in response to a ruling issued by the Committee on Rules and Elections (CRE) in October 2023, in response to a request from the Committee on Committees (CoC) regarding the interpretation of Senate Bylaw II.III.2.A (CAP Membership). 


Proposed Amendments to Senate Bylaw II.III.3.A – RESERVE COMMITTEE ON ACADEMIC PERSONNEL MEMBERSHIP

The proposed amendments align with academic policies that aim to provide more opportunity for early exploration of undergraduate majors and allow for easier academic recovery from struggles in first semester courses. 


Proposed Amendments to Senate Regulation II.3.B – ACADEMIC DISMISSAL  

The proposed amendments align with academic policies that aim to not academically dismiss students after their first semester.
